Social networks communities through five levels of interaction will be created in order to support the CAREGIVERSPRO-MMD platform use, populate communities of people living with dementia and caregivers and increase public awareness about dementia.
Social and clinical screening service will be offered for people living with dementia, for caregivers and for the dyadic relationship. The screening service will comprise checklists identifying symptoms of dementia and psychiatric comorbidity for people living with dementia, symptoms of burnout and psychiatric comorbidity for caregivers and wellbeing and quality of life levels for both. All indicators will be recorded in the system.
The CAREGIVERSPRO-MMD platform will provide educational interventions, both of general and of user-tailored content. Those of generic content will be focused on dementia disease, dementia and psychiatric comorbidity symptoms and available resources. Those of user-tailored content will be triggered on the basis of screening results and identified symptoms and will be individualized, comprehensive and real-time, based on predictive modelling algorithms.

In order to increase the involvement of CAREGIVERSPRO-MMD platform end-users (people living with dementia, informal and social caregivers, doctors), gamification techniques will be integrated to engage the participation, supporting adherence and medical education. Game storyboard characters and concepts combined with fun elements and rewarding schemes will increase the interest of end-users in using the platform.
